To kiss or not to kiss
How people greet each other varies greatly between cultures, and can be different depending on context, relationship, age and gender. However, from a general perspective, greetings throughout Europe between close relatives or friends, excluding men-to-men interactions, are often seen to be based on kissing. In some countries, such as Belgium, one kiss is customary whereas in other places, such as certain French regions, people greet each other with up to four kisses.

Greenhouse gas emissions in the EU
Agriculture, energy and manufacturing are the main industries contributing to greenhouse gas emissions in the EU, with the biggest absolute producers being Germany, Poland and France. However, smaller countries also contribute their share, as less populated areas, such as Iceland or Denmark, present the highest levels of GHG emissions per capita.
